This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) will be effective from December 18th, 2025 (“Effective Date”)

Modomu ("Company") is committed to conducting its business operations with transparency, customer focus, and operational efficiency. As part of this commitment, the Company ensures that the shipment and delivery of its products are handled in a manner that respects consumer rights, maintains clarity in logistics, and complies with all applicable legal and regulatory standards in India.

This Shipping Policy sets out the terms and conditions under which orders are processed, shipped, delivered, and, where applicable, returned or addressed in case of delays or defects. It governs all orders placed through Modomu's official website and is intended to protect the interests of both the Company and its customers by clearly outlining the responsibilities and limitations associated with order fulfilment.

WHEREAS

• While Modomu strives to ensure timely and reliable delivery, the Company partners with an independent third-party shipping aggregator for logistics and last-mile fulfilment. Accordingly, this Policy includes important disclaimers regarding the Company’s limited liability in transit-related matters once the order has been handed over to the delivery partner.
• This Policy is formulated in alignment with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and other applicable Indian laws. It is designed to provide a transparent, fair, and practical framework for order handling and logistics, ensuring consistent and informed expectations for all customers engaging with the Company’s platform.

NOW THEREFORE, Modomu hereby adopts this Shipping Policy to establish a clear, reliable, and legally compliant framework for the processing, dispatch, and delivery of customer orders. This Policy reinforces the Company’s values of transparency, customer satisfaction, and operational accountability while addressing its obligations under applicable Indian consumer protection and e-commerce laws. It also clarifies the Company’s role and limited liability in logistics operations executed by third-party partners.

 

What is Modomu's Shipping Policy? 

We strive to deliver products purchased from Modomu in excellent condition and in the fastest time possible. Also, for all the purchases that total to ₹990 or more, we will deliver the order to your doorstep free of cost. A shipping charge of ₹99 will be applicable to all orders under ₹990.

If the order is cancelled within 3 days of order placement, we will refund the complete order amount, including any shipping charges, if paid online.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

You will receive the order confirmation email once we ship the order, containing the tracking number, using which you will be able to track the order status. Please make sure you leave the correct contact details and email for us to reach out to you. If you fail to receive the order confirmation notification, please reach out to us at support@modomu.com, or you can reach out to us via the chat option on our homepage

 

How can I check if Modomu delivers to my PIN Code?

You can find out if Modomu delivers to your PIN Code using the courier serviceability tool available on the payment page. Please tap on the Expected Delivery Date and enter your area PIN code in the respective field to get the required information about the standard order delivery time for the products selected. The PIN codes serviced by us are frequently updated, so if we do not deliver to your PIN code today, please come back and check to see if this has been updated.

 

How are orders placed on Modomu delivered to me?

All orders placed on Modomu are dispatched through our multiple courier partners as per the serviceability, and we will keep on updating couriers.

 

How long does it take to deliver the products?

Most Modomu orders are delivered within 17–20 days.

Since our products are thoughtfully sourced and quality-checked by our teams in Seoul and India, delivery timelines may vary slightly by location.

How can I get my order delivered faster? 

Sorry, currently we do not have any service available to expedite the order delivery. In the future, if we are offering such a service and your area pincode is serviceable, you will receive a communication from our end

 

What are your shipping Fee? 

We carefully pack and dispatch all orders to ensure safe delivery. Free shipping on orders above ₹990; ₹99 shipping fee below ₹990.

Our average delivery time is approximately 17-20 days (may vary during pre-orders). Tracking details are shared via email after dispatch. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for any delivery issues. 

 

Where do you deliver?

We currently ship to all major cities, towns, and pin codes across India. At this time, we do not offer international shipping. Delivery availability may vary by location — for an exact estimate, enter your PIN code on the product page.

 

Have I received a partial item/partial order or an Untenanted/Void packet?

Kindly reach out to us for pilferage within 48 hours of delivery, failing which the claim will not be entertained. Whilst we investigate, we request you to please make note of the following pointers:

1. Please do not use the item for which the claim is being raised.

2. You may be required to share information like a short description of the case (A few questions will be asked to help us understand the scenario) and the snapshots of the packet and other boxes (If any) (Try to cover the sides which look tampered/damaged as per the Users)

3. The refund for the orders will be done after the investigation

 

You may not be liable for a refund if he/she falls into any of the scenarios stated below:

1. Failure to provide adequate information about the case.
2. Failure to provide snapshots of the packet and box (if any)
3. If a pilferage delivery was received, pilferage claims must be made on the same day.
4. You must not dispose of the packaging for at least 3-4 days post-delivery. We might need to pick up your packaging for investigation at our end.
5. You have used the item for which the claim has been raised.

FORCE MAJEURE

• Modomu shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or disruption in order processing, dispatch, shipping, or delivery of products that arises due to events beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”). Such events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, or cyclones), acts of God, fire, war, terrorism, civil unrest, national emergencies, governmental actions or regulations, labor strikes, pandemics, public health emergencies, courier service disruptions, transportation blockades, cyber-attacks, and failures or delays on the part of third-party service providers, including shipping partner or its affiliates.
• During the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event, Modomu's obligations under this Policy shall be deemed suspended for the duration of the event, and the estimated timelines for dispatch or delivery may be extended without penalty. Modomu will make commercially reasonable efforts to inform affected Customers of such delays and resume operations as soon as the situation permits. In such cases, Modomu shall not be liable to offer any refund, compensation, penalty, or damages for non-performance or delay resulting from a force majeure event.

 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS OBSERVED

Modomu observes the public holidays listed in Annexure A during which order processing, dispatch, and customer service may be unavailable. Orders placed immediately before or during these holidays may experience delays in processing or shipping.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

• Modomu is committed to addressing and resolving customer concerns in a transparent, fair, and time-bound manner. In accordance with Rule 5(3) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Modomu has appointed a Grievance Officer to handle complaints related to shipping, delivery, logistics failures, and other issues arising under this Shipping Policy.

• Upon receipt of a complaint, the Grievance Officer shall:
• Acknowledge the complaint within 48 hours of receipt,
• Endeavour to resolve the complaint within one month from the date of receipt.
• All complaints must be made in writing and must include the order number, registered email address, contact number, nature of grievance, and any supporting documentation or screenshots where applicable. Complaints made via unofficial channels (such as social media comments or private DMs) shall not be considered formal grievances unless subsequently submitted via the designated email address.
• The Grievance Officer’s role is to ensure that every complaint is evaluated fairly and that appropriate action is taken in accordance with this Shipping Policy, applicable laws, and the Company’s internal protocols.

 

GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.

 

REVIEW AND AMENDMENTS

Modomu may amend or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of the website or placing orders constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
By placing an order, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this Shipping Policy. If the Customer does not agree, they should not proceed with the transaction. Use of the website or purchase constitutes acceptance of this Policy, as amended.
