Two small ears, which sounds like a detail until you are carrying 960 ml of soup from the hob to the table and do not need a cloth. It is 22 centimetres across — a proper bowl, not a starter dish — with a rim that dips and rises rather than being cut flat. The outside is painted by hand, so the stripes sit slightly differently on every one and the little squirrel is never in quite the same place twice. Five designs.
