The flowers are the trick here - the petals are moulded plump and rounded so they read as inflated rather than flat, and each one carries a centre dome in the opposite colour. Two checked hearts and two checked strawberries pick up the same two colours in fabric print, and two plain domes fill the gaps. Ten pieces, meant to spread across both shoes.
